Dear Customers & Trade Partners:

We are writing to share the steps we are taking to keep you safe, and meet your family’s needs, during the rapidly evolving coronavirus situation. The safety of our customers, trade partners, and staff is our top priority.

In an effort to limit the amount of traffic within our showrooms, effective Wednesday, March 18, we have decided to temporarily suspend walk-in traffic as a means to keep our Staff safe and healthy, so they can be here fully to support your and your family however you may need. We are still offering complete Sales & Service support, making deliveries, and scheduling service calls. As soon as we feel it OK accommodate walk-ins, we certainly will, and will let you know via Email, Facebook/Social, and our Website. Again, this is only temporary!

Related, we are closely following recommendations from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and state and local authorities, by taking extra safety measures company-wide, including within our Service Department, Delivery Department, Warehouse, and all Crane Appliance Delivery & Service vehicles. High-traffic surfaces are being well sanitized, and our Service & Delivery teams will have disinfectants in their vehicles, to ensure that while on-the-road, sanitizing precautions are taken between home visits. And, internally, we have asked those on our team who are feeling ill to please stay home, rest, and take care of themselves, thus ensuring their health and well-being, in addition to that of our customers.

As a community, we often discuss the benefits of “Shopping Local”, for example, that one will receive better service, or that supporting a local business means supporting your local community, which is undoubtedly important to us all. Since 1983, our goal as a local company has been to give our Cape and Island family the best experience possible. We are proud to know we can deliver on the promises set forth in this letter, particularly due to the fact our company consists of in-house team members; from Sales, to Delivery, to Service, we know who is in each of our showroom locations, and who will be on our trucks going to your home; we have the ability to ensure all appropriate measures are being enforced, and the ability to speak regularly, and directly, with each team member. This is not something most larger companies in our industry can achieve as swiftly or as thoroughly as we can, given many facets of such businesses are often outsourced.
