This is a good hood and works well. I used a regular philips screwdriver but it was hard to remove the screw for tue white plastic that holds the filter. I had to use a pointed philips head instead.

We purchased as a quick replacement for our 25 yr old fan the day before our new stove arrived. I wish it had a dim/bright light option and the finish is rough and woud have preferred smooth. The fan itself is outstanding though quite noisy.overall we are satisfied.

Ive only had this installed 2 weeks so I cant really give an accurate review. Installation was OK but I didn't do it. I haven't had to change the filter or bulbs yet. Its been too hot to use the oven so I haven't used it much. I will update a review 6 months from now.
