I purchased our refrigerator 14 months ago and then both ice makers failed. The bottom ice maker was covered under the warranty but the upper ice maker in the door was not under warranty. So we had to pay $430.00. We have never had anything on a refrigerator fail before and we have had a number of previously purchased refrigerators because we are in our 70s. Therefore we think LG is terrible and we would recommend everyone stay away from LG products.

I love this frig it has a wonderful layout and organization. My husband loves the craft ice. The craft ice-maker quit working but before I discovered it LG contacted me to let me know that I could get a replacement for FREE. I could choose to either do a self install or get a technician. The appointment was quick and fixed in a day or two. The only other reason for 4 out of 5 stars is the top freezer drawer is difficult to access. It doesnt pull out all the way and things are difficult to access. This wouldnt keep me from buying it again. The front view door organization especially with the middle drawer and craft ice are all worth a little repair. LG handled the repair seamlessly.

we bought this unit approx 18 months ago fridg works fantastic freezer works great unfortunately it has a craft ice maker that is not good at best it has been replaced 4 times and we are about ready to demand the unit be replaced we would be happy if LG would at least come up with a fix for this problem but at this date 11/20/2023 they have not needless to say we are not very happy campers1111111111111111

Bought on October 5 Initially we were looking at a Samsung but the sales person asked us to look at the LG.We looked at a couple of LGs kept coming back to the one we bought. We love the center drawer and the ability to switch it to a freezer drawer love the craft ice maker love the fact it has Wi-Fi I can get on my phone and check the features. I also like the see thru door. This is the first LG product we have ever owned. As of now you have a life long customer. I am 100 sold on LG.

I bought a suite of appliances for my kitchen and a washer and dryer. All top of the line Thinq All products were delivered in August 2023. I have already had one replaced and needed service on 3 others. My case was escalated to the Presidential Liason team on 11/3/23 with a promised response in 24 hrs. Its been 17 days and several follow ups. Im still waiting.

I have had this refrigerator for less than 2 years. The ice makers are totally unreliable and so is the water dispenser. The two things I use most for $3500 this appliance should work. It also makes a lot of noise. Never buying another LG appliance.

All is good except for water dispenser. They should not have cut cost and put a dispenser in that has auto shut off show the water measurement going out and have a method of asking for a specific measurement. There preset measurement system is useless since you still need to hold your container against the switch. These are available from other manufacturers for years. In addition to an extension to support larger water containers. Otherwise we like it.

Extremely disappointed with this refrigerator and LGs customer service. My husband and I purchased this refrigerator in February of 2022 for over $3000. It worked fine up until last week when we received the error code FF on the screen in the front. I called LG to see if it would be covered under the warranty since its not even two years old yet only to be told that it is out of warranty and would not be covered. My only option was to use their out of warranty department to have them come out to repair it which would cost $460 with tax regardless of which part they end up replacing. ALL of the food refrigerated and frozen spoiled even after trying to keep it cool with 8+ bags of ice. About $800 worth of food destroyed the week before Thanksgiving. The technician came out and fixed the fridge in about 10 minutes with a $150 new fan and told me that he had been replacing these fans a LOT regardless of age of fridge which seems like a manufacturers issue with LG. After this I called LG to see what refund I would be getting out of the $460 I paid considering the part was only $150. They told me that I would absolutely not be getting any kind of refund even though it was my understanding that there was a potential for a refund depending on what was replaced. I waited on the phone for an hour and 10 minutes being bounced from customer service rep to IT rep to two more customer service reps none of which were willing to help me. I attempted to recover at the very least the cost of the spoiled food or any kind of compensation only for the person that I was transferred to to tell me Im not sure why they sent you to me I cant help you after 45 minutes on the phone at this point. Beyond disappointed that LG does not care about their customers and that Im paying $460 out of pocket on a refrigerator that is less than two years old. I would not buy another LG fridge.

We love the featuresEXCEPT for the continual problem with the Craft Ice. After a while it wouldnt drop the balls and hammered until the balls had to be pried out. After about 3 service calls the ice maker was replaced with a new improved one 2 months ago. Now it leaks water and freezes the leakage until it builds up and has to be reset a number of times. LG is not standing behind this problem. Very frustrating

Craft ice Machine does not last. Had ours replaced under warranty and the technician even warned us that he has a lot of these replaced compressors in his truck. We were told by lg they would not replace it again. Well it lasted 6 months and we hardly used the replacement. Do not get this refrigerator because of the craft ice feature.

Best fridge Ive owned. So spacious Love the extra room in the fruit and veggie drawers. The 1 improvement is make is the be able to disable the open door alarm. It takes time to put groceries away and that alarm is constantly going off.

I bought this refrigerator about 3 weeks ago. I wish we had space for a bigger fridge but our kitchen only has space for the counter depth one. I am a bit of a LG snob. Over the years we have owned many different brands but always turn to LG for replacements because their products have always lasted. I do hope that is still true being that we just bought a handful of their appliances for our new home. Heres a few qualms I have with this one I dont like is the vegetable drawers they do not open enough to access the drawer properly. Same thing goes for the freeze drawers. You have to fidget to get bigger items in and out. Again though that wouldnt have been an issue with the bigger fridge. Thats just a counter depth thing with this design. Other than that I absolutely love it. It is fingerprintless which means I am not wiping it off every time someone comes to the kitchen or a dog snoot presses on it. I love the door in door. Craft ice is nice but my kids love it as a novelty and use it more than my husband and I combined . lol. I love the WiFi option on it and I was very unsure about it upon purchase. I like turning on the ice maker to have extra ice for when we get home or being able to adjust the temperature if needed without being there. Mainly ice is a big thing with us when you have 5+ people getting ice water all day. Also being told it needs new filters instead of waiting for a light to come on the front them forget about it when you walk away. Over all it was worth every penny.

Loud buzzing and unreliable craft ice

Two years of ownership and the fridge makes a buzzing noise that has gotten louder over the months. Their customer service refuses to help you the first time you call so you have to call twice. The craft ice maker has an issue about once a month and has to be fully removed and defeated. The fridge door with the ice maker in it is heavy and slams hard unless you baby it closed every time.

Purchased our counter-depth refrigerator 2 weeks ago and am very pleased. We had a similar model which we replaced and I really like the upgrades in this machine. Love the larger produce drawers our previous had 3 small verses 2 regular size. I think I will enjoy an icemaker in the freezer and the craft ice come summer. Would have given 5 stars but one negative is slightly narrower shelves some on the doors. Also still getting plastic taste in the water which should resolve soon. Overall great machine.

I bought a new LG Refrigerator about 6 months ago It is a side by side but the 2 doors were at different heights Then the ice maker didnt work properly So the repair main came to adjust the doors which was ok But after installing a new part on the ice maker he tightened a screw and broke the plastic part. Then he left and never came back

The refrigerator after two years got the ch error and stopped cooling and if you live in PR they dont have the logistics for the technicians so their warranty doesnt work and they leave you with the problem. Warranty customer service is useless.

We bought this refrigerator to replace one that came with the house. Were very happy with the purchase. The convertible drawer is a welcome feature both for the variable temperature capability but it also provides a space for wide items like casseroles. The two drawers can be set for either fruits or vegetables. The visible door provides easy access for much used items. The craft ice feature is a nice addition as well.

I bought this almost 1 year ago. I have been happy with it until June 2023 when my craft ice stopped working. It fills the receptacle with water and freezes it. No round ice balls. C.S. Said it needed to be replaced and would send one out. Its going on 3 weeks nothing yet??

No Frost

We purchased this refrigerator in July and whilst most of the features work well the ice maker is causing an error code which the LG techs say its due to frost. There is not a drop of frost anywhere in the freezer of ice cube tray. They advise to empty the freezer and refrigerator for 24 hours to let it defrost and then turn it back on to reset it. We have completed those instructions however the error code continues to reappear.

Overall the fridge works great. The craft ice maker in the bottom freezer seems a little slow and problematic. But every other feature works as expected. I am happy with the fridge so far

I purchased one 3 years ago and August 2023 the compressor went and lost all the food. The LG app is a waste because it showed the refrigerator was working with no issues. Everything was defrosted and app stilled showed 35/0 temperature. It took over a week to get it fixed and found out this product had compressor problems. All my other appliances are LG and hope they hold up. I never got payed back for someone to check my frig.

Great space for condiments and easy access. I did not think I would use the double tap refrigerator door opening but love it and use it all the time. Craft ice makes 3- 6 per day pending your settings and is great just slow producing so set your expectations accordingly. Overall love the refrigerator and am happy with its purchase.

Ive had this refrigerator 2 weeks. When I received the right side French Door was at least a 1/4 lower than the left side. As I looked at it closer the lower hinge is installed crooked. Im worried over time it will be too much weight and break. Trying to get some out to look at it.

Still I purchased this refrigerator I had the craft ice assembly replaced twice and its not working now . I feel that this part of the refrigerator is defective and its an on going problem. Wont recommend to anyone to purchase LG REFRIGERATOR with a craft ice maker.

Fits perfectly and give us a lot more room in our small kitchen. The regular ice maker works great and the craft ice is nice to have. The space in the see-through door is a big plus because we can store soda and other drinks in the door and not open the entire fridge to get a drink.

This LG refrigerator has great capacity for storage options. The center pull out is the best for either drinks or food. The see thru door makes it very nice to see when things are getting low without having to open the door. The one down side of this unit is that we have a craft ice unit in the freezer and it always malfunctions. We wish we could change it out to the normal ice. The water escapes the unit and leaves a frozen pool of water in the pan and the ice balls do not come out. Every few months we have to disassemble the unit and remove the frozen content. Once we do that its works beautifully again for a few more months before the issue occurs again.

I bought it two months ago and already the ice flapper is leaking water and customer service didnt want to help and just recommended I remove the Ice. The right door is collapsing and looks misaligned and the left door got scratched pretty easily. I do not recommend this LG brand of refrigerator
